
After a first-half battle against conference rivals Stephen F. Austin, the Southeastern Lions managed to pull away from the Lumberjacks for a 66-56 victory. Patrick Sullivan contributed 20 points and nine rebounds to the Lions’ win, while Brandon Fortenberry added 12 points and Gary Dixon, 10. The win was Southeastern’s first over the Lumberjacks in four years, and pushed the Lions to a 12-1 record at home this season.
