The Southeastern Lions pulled out a Southland Conference win during a battle with Central Arkansas, which ended 60-53. Sophomore guard DeShawn Patterson brought down 17 points while senior center Patrick Sullivan added another 10, bringing an end to the Lions’ three-game losing streak.

The Southeastern Lady Lions fell to Stephen F. Austin, 75-61, on Saturday in the University Center. The Lady Lions fought a tough battle, tying up the score at 39 with just over 16 minutes remaining, but SFA quickly regained a 10-point lead and Southeastern never managed to catch up.
